To see the recorded video in the preview window on the editing screen, go to the Device Manager in Control Panel and enable the Display Adapter. Also, the MPEG-2 Video Extension App from Microsoft doesn't affect the preview. Also, the Realtek High Definition Audio driver doesn't affect the preview. I recommend giving your video a title before you start recording because I think that it won't keep it after editing but I'm not certain on that. I tried using the older adapter (Microsoft Basic Display Adapter) and found that it wouldn't show a video signal in the preview window when trying to edit a recorded video. By the way, I've found that the updated Display Adapter (Intel(R) UHD Graphics 610) is the only adapter that will work with Roxio and Windows 10. Do this before opening the Roxio program. Disable the Display Adapter but don't uninstall it. To see the preview of the video while recording and to get a video signal, go to the Device Manager in Control Panel. These are the notes I took along the way. By the way, I'm using a pc with Windows 10. Also, reading other comments and posts about this and watching YouTube videos about it helped, as well as doing my own troubleshooting and tests. I have been trying to figure it out for some time and this is what I've found works for me. This post is for anyone who has been trying to get Roxio Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus to work with Windows 10.
